Pay with Stripe

A Stripe subscription covers the organization. Stripe handles payment methods, invoices, and subscription management; LakeSail does not receive card details. You need the Owner or Billing Admin role.

Subscribe with Stripe

  1. Open Settings → Billing.
  2. Click Subscribe with Stripe.
  3. Complete the hosted Stripe checkout.
  4. Return to LakeSail and wait for Trial or Active. The page refreshes automatically.

If activation takes longer than usual, refresh after a moment. Do not start another checkout.

If your trial has not started, checkout starts it. The Billing page shows when charging begins.

What the subscription covers

One Stripe subscription covers all connected cloud accounts. If you also use AWS Marketplace, matching AWS agreements cover their accounts and Stripe covers the rest.

When Stripe bills

Stripe invoices usage monthly. The Usage billing card shows the current billing period and next charge date, and View metering shows usage for that period.

Manage payment and invoices

  1. Open Settings → Billing.
  2. On the Usage billing card marked Stripe, click Manage subscription.
  3. In Stripe, update payment, review invoices, pay a balance, or cancel.

LakeSail refreshes when you return.

Resolve a failed payment

Past Due means the latest charge failed, but workloads still run. Open Manage subscription and update payment.

Suspended pauses new workloads. Click Reinstate subscription and settle the invoice in Stripe.

Cancel or resubscribe

Cancel in the Stripe portal. LakeSail then shows Unsubscribed and keeps historical metering. To restore billing, click Resubscribe with Stripe.
