The managed Apache Flink service on the LakeSail platform is deprecated.

LakeSail is building Sail, an open-source computation framework in Rust to seamlessly integrate stream-processing, batch-processing, and compute-intensive (AI) workloads. The LakeSail platform will offer the managed solution for Sail. Existing PySpark and Flink SQL workloads can be migrated with ease. Please stay tuned and contact us if you are interested!

What is LakeSail? ​

LakeSail is a cloud-native platform for your data processing needs. The goal of LakeSail is to provide a unified solution for batch processing, stream processing, and compute-intensive workloads.

The mission of LakeSail is to revamp big data processing for the AI era. We design our product by identifying the pain points of existing big data processing solutions, and we build components to fill the gaps between open-source projects and your business needs. We would like to offer a developer experience that contains best practices for developing, deploying, and operating data applications, while you can focus on the business logic.

Currently, LakeSail features a managed Apache Flink service. You can visit the getting started page to try out the platform locally. We offer a Community Edition of the LakeSail platform so that you can evaluate essential features of the platform for free. We will release an Enterprise Edition of the platform in the near future so that you can deploy LakeSail to your own infrastructure after obtaining a license key. We plan to support a cloud service as well, where we manage the infrastructure for you. Please contact us if you are interested in our support plans and various deployment options for your business.

LakeSail also maintains Docker images for Apache Flink. This can be used even if you are not using the LakeSail platform. Take a look at its documentation and give it a try!
